Sports Liaison Officer | Mental Health Advocate | Mentor

Vanessah Ndabwike is a dedicated Sports Liaison Officer with the Uganda Olympic Committee, where she plays a pivotal role in the Game Connect project—an initiative that leverages sports to promote mental health and well-being among young people.

She brings a strong academic and practical background in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) as well as Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH). Her work includes research in humanitarian contexts, where she has witnessed the transformative power of resilience, hope, and community-driven motivation.

Through the Women in Sport cohort, Vanessah has deepened her commitment to empowering young women to recognize their potential and step into leadership roles. Her mentorship with Girls for Girls (G4G) enables her to inspire, guide, and uplift young women by sharing her personal and professional journey.

Vanessah is passionate about mental health advocacy, youth empowerment, and using sport as a tool for social change. Her work continues to impact communities by encouraging young people—especially girls—to thrive and lead with confidence.
